The Future of Live Music
Geoff Keighley (moderator) is one of the leading live event producers and on-camera personalities in the video game industry. He founded and hosts The Game Awards, an all-digital awards show for the games which is now seen by over 83 million viewers a year globally.
Joel Zimmerman, more commonly known as deadmau5 (pronounced 'dead mouse'), is one of the world's most respected electronic music producers of modern times. Enjoying international chart success with his platinum-certified single "Ghosts 'n' Stuff," as well as "Professional Griefers," "Sofi Needs A Ladder" and "I Remember," he has also released seven critically acclaimed albums. The multiple JUNO Award-winning and GRAMMY®-nominated artist's ability to push the boundaries of his talent grows at an equal rate to his fan base, which counts 15 million and more over his combined social media channels.
mxmtoon is an artist/songwriter/actor/designer/gamer based in Brooklyn, NY. She recently released a new EP true colors, with songs from the popular adventure game Life is Strange: True Colors. Quickly following the release, she wrapped a year long daily podcast, “365 days with mxmtoon.” Her last full length album the masquerade features RIAA Gold single "prom dress." She has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone and NPR, with Billboard Magazine doting her as "one of the sharpest minds in music today."
Jillian Rothman is a member of Warner Music Group’s New Business & Ventures team where she leads licensing and partnerships in gaming and interactive media. Prior to this role, Jillian was an attorney at Ropes & Gray, LLP, and clerked on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. A graduate of the University of Michigan two-times-over, Jillian is a native of New York City, which she says is the world’s best place to escape from, but also return to.
Mikael Moore is Managing Partner at Wondaland Arts Society and manager to Janelle Monae, Jidenna, Angela Rye, and others. Mikael oversees the company’s talent management, music, and TV and film businesses, and is actively working to establish their artists as builders of the metaverse.
Creators of the Multiverse
Candice Mudrick (Moderator) is a Senior Product Manager for NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW Cloud Gaming service, which enables gamers to instantly transform almost any device into a PC gaming rig. Before NVIDIA, she led metaverse research while Head of Market Analysis at Newzoo, the leading games and esports data company. Her experience spans the gaming and hardware space and her background also includes Blizzard Entertainment and Qualcomm.
Rob Lowe is Managing Director of LEGO Ventures’ Digital Play investment, and line manager of the EMEA investment team, based in London. Prior to joining LEGO Ventures Rob worked at the LEGO Group where he was responsible for developing and growing LEGO Group’s connected digital ecosystem, in particular launching LEGO® Life, which reached 8m users in 2018. Before the LEGO Group, Rob worked in marketing at Nintendo of Europe where he launched the Wii, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS in the European market.
Jordan Maynard (Chief Creative Officer, Manticore Games) has over twenty years of experience making games at Electronic Arts, Trion Worlds, A Bit Lucky (acquired by Zynga), and Zynga. Prior to founding Manticore Games, Jordan was a Franchise Designer at Zynga, which he joined as part of the acquisition of A Bit Lucky, his previous game company. Games Jordan worked on include Mountain Goat Mountain, Empires & Allies, Solstice Arena, Lucky Space, Lucky Train, Rift, and Spore and lead Zynga’s R&D VR studio.
Athena Demos is founder and co-producer of Big Rock Creative (BRCvr), a global creative community that hosted the official virtual reality experience for Burning Man. BRCvr won the 2021 Producers Guild of America Innovation Award and international recognition for bringing Burning Man to thousands during the pandemic.
Since 2013, best friends Courtney Birk and Ashleigh Coffelt, CA in LA, have created over 100 films and played thousands of songs together. In addition to touring the world with their work screening in film festivals, their music blends ambient tones with haunting harmonies to create a tragic blend of heartbreak. Passionate about storytelling and creating unique experiences through film and music, their content explores themes of identity, relationships, and mental health. Courtney & Ashleigh aim to create an innovative and collaborative space with each film and music performance.
